2.9 Acknowledgement

The present status of EXSAS could not have been achieved without continuous support and advice from a large number of people we cannot mention here individually. EXSAS is built on experience with different projects performed in-house in the past. Therefore some of the EXSAS software modules indeed have different grandparents or even different parents. We would like to thank all our colleagues that have in one or the other way (code, suggestions, bug reports) contributed to the EXSAS development. This is especially true for all the colleagues from the SASS development group.

We would also like to acknowledge the excellent support from the MIDAS people at ESO that were always open to implement new features for EXSAS or correct inconsistencies in the system on the shortest timescales possible - and nevertheless stayed friendly.
